Personal hygiene in restaurants

Restaurant management has to monitor employee's hygiene in the restaurant. Quite often proper hygiene is overlooked in the restaurant.


People who are working in a restaurant, they think about money and quite often if they sick they will not seek medical attention.


Here a few tips about how you can increase the effectiveness of employee's hygiene:


1. Education and training - explain about risk and danger, monitor your employees. Physically shown how to wash hand.


2. Use glove. Use glove during cooking and make sure that you change them often, especially when you change your cooking task.


3. Control your employee's hygiene such as they should shower daily, wear clean garments, fingernails clean and trimmed and cover any open wounds.


4. Cover your hair if it is long.


Be careful because of the internet and social media you cannot have a mistake otherwise the news can be viral very fast.
